Pranav Mukund

Majoring in biomedical engineering, Pranav is an undergraduate student (class of 2026) at Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering. As a research assistant in the David Lab, he works with Stephen Embree to develop medical devices that improve nurse safety and patient health. His research interests include regulatory policy, health technology assessment, and innovation incentives. When not in the lab or classroom, Pranav can be found on E-quad hosting events for Engineering Student Government, performing the violin with the Duke Symphony Orchestra, or shooting hoops at Wilson Gym.
